Alright Fantasy Fumblers, it is time for a fresh new start for the DFS portion of the website. Kingman was running into some horrible luck the last month, so we both agreed to work with each other for the rest of the season to get back into our winning ways. As always, we suggest sticking with the 50/50 competitions when it comes to the DFS leagues. You will have a better chance at making some money. Listed below are our locks, busts and bargain player of the week nominees.

LeSean McCoy – McCoy is having a strong season and now he has one of the juiciest matchups of the weekend against the Oakland Raiders. Even though the Raiders have one of the best records in the NFL, their rushing defensive is one of the worst in the league. Look for McCoy to have 100+ combined yards with at least one TD this weekend.

Jamison Crowder – Crowder has easily became Kirk Cousins favorite receiver to target in a high-powered offense. In the last 5 weeks, Crowder has 31 receptions with 442 yards and 3 receiving TDs in that span. Look for Crowder to be around 80 yards receiving and a TD in this matchup against the Cardinals strong, but leaky secondary.

Jordan Howard – Howard has 414 rushing yards over the last 4 games. Just like McCoy, Howard has one of the best matchups of the weekend. Howard and the Bears will face the 49ers, who are allowing the most rush yards in the NFL as of right now. Look for Howard to have 130+ total yards with 2 TDs.

Ben Roethlisberger ($7400) – Big Ben is going up against one of the better pass rush defenses in the NFL. The New York Giants will travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers, but look for this to be possibly one of the lowest scoring games of the weekend. Big Ben, just like most of the Steelers this season, has been very inconsistent.

Amari Cooper ($7300) – Cooper is having a lackluster sophomore campaign in Oakland. Carr is one of the better QBs in the game right now, but he seems to do better when spreading the ball around instead of zoning in on Cooper. Over the last 3 weeks, Cooper’s combined stat line is not very impressive (14 receptions, 135 yards and 1 TD). Do NOT waste your salary on Cooper this weekend.

Jay Ajayi ($6700) – The Dolphins are on a 6-game winning streak mainly because of the play of Ajayi. However, over the last couple of weeks Ajayi has slowed down quite a bit. In the last 3 weeks, Ajayi has 53 carries for 201 yards and 1 TD. That is an average yard per carry (YPC) of 3.79. The prior 3 weeks, Ajayi was the best RB in the NFL with 77 carries for 529 yards and 4 TDs. During that span his YPC was an amazing 6.87 YPC. That means Ajayi is averaging 3 yards less per carry as of late. Save your salary!

Dion Lewis ($3800) – Lewis has been eased into the Patriots lineup since Week 10. Each week he seems to get a few more touches than the prior week. This is the week that Lewis gets his first TD of the season. Lewis will easily give you 5 points just off of catches (PPR), but look for a total of around 15 points from this bargain pick of the week. GOOD LUCK!!!
