Well, the victories were sure short lived. Almost EVERYONE that I wrote about last week was a BUST. I am looking to rebound this week with a solid lineup that for sure should win you some extra money in the DFS 50/50 leagues. Here are my suggestions for Week 15. Good luck!
David Johnson ($10,100) – This is the most expensive price I have EVER seen on DFS in my 3+ years of participating. If anybody is worth this price tag, it is David Johnson. He is a machine at both running and receiving the ball. Johnson failed to reach the end zone in Week 14, look for that to change this weekend.
Jordy Nelson ($7,300) – Nelson and the Packers passing game has been on fire over the last 6 weeks. Look for that to continue against a weak Bears team. Over the last 8 weeks, Nelson has had at least 1 TD in 7/8 games played. Over the last 3 weeks, Nelson has combined for 250 receiving yards and 3 TDs. Start him, and most Packers with confidence this weekend.
Jordan Howard ($6,000) – Howard has been a fantasy football waiver wire darling this season. Howard has been getting the rock a lot more often over this past month compared to the prior month when coach Jon Fox was playing musical running backs. Now that Howard is the guy, he has stepped up big time and look for him to do it again this weekend in a juicy matchup against the Packers.
Julio Jones ($8,100) – Jones most likely is NOT going to play in Week 15. He has yet to practice this week (as well as last week). Turf toe is an extremely painful injury that normally keeps players out for months. Even if Jones suits up, he most likely would be used as a decoy. Save your money!
Ben Roethlisberger ($6,600) – Big Ben has been very inconsistent this season, especially on the road. Big Ben’s better games this season have all been at home in Pittsburgh. The Steelers will take on their hated rival the Bengals in Cincy. Look for Big Ben to have a few TDs, but also a few turnovers.
Melvin Gordon ($6,500) – This is similar to the situation with Julio Jones. Gordon is coming off of an injury last week and most likely will miss Week 15. If the Chargers were smart, they would just rest Gordon for the rest of the season since the Chargers are not really in the hunt for a playoff berth (especially in the toughest division in the NFL).
Kenneth Dixon ($3,800) – Dixon has earned more playing time over the last month. Each week, he is getting more and more use in the Ravens offense. Dixon has both running and receiving skills. Over the last 3 weeks, Dixon has totaled 238 yards 1 TD and 16 receptions. The TDs will come for Dixon, but at least his floor is around 10 fantasy points every week (counting receptions for PPR points). Dixon is a great bargain player for Week 15.
