It is the final week of the football season! Most likely, your standard fantasy league championship was last weekend. The great thing about daily leagues is that you can win (or lose) on a weekly basis! Here are my suggestions for Week 17 for DFS 50/50 league competitions.
Andrew Luck ($6700) – Luck has had a bounce-back fantasy football season after missing half of the season, last year due to injuries. Look for Andrew Luck and the rest of the Indianapolis Colts to demolish their division rival the Jaguars. Luck should finish with around 300 passing yards and 3 TDs.
Jordy Nelson ($8100) – Nelson has been playing like a freak over the last 6 weeks, along with Aaron Rodgers. Look for that trend to continue against the Lions. This game comes down to which team will win their division and go to the playoffs. Nelson will have around 100 receiving yards and 1 TD in this divisional matchup.
Michael Thomas ($6700) – Outside of Ezekiel Elliott, Thomas has been the most consistent rookie this season. Thomas has quickly became Drew Brees favorite go-to WR. You can always count on Thomas for 80 receiving yards and 1 TD.
Ezekiel Elliott ($7400) – Elliott has been an absolute beast this season. Not only is he the rookie of the year, but he is in the argument for MVP as well. The ONLY reason I have Elliott as a bust this weekend is because I do not see the Cowboys playing their starters the entire game. And if you have watched the Cowboys games over the last couple weeks, they are resting Zeke while bringing in backup Darren McFadden. Elliott will still finish around 60 total yards and 1 TD, but still a hefty price for someone expecting RB1 numbers.
Brandin Cooks ($6900) – Cooks is very inconsistent and has been his entire 3-year career so far. Cooks is a weekly boom or bust player. The last 2 weeks he has been getting more targets from Drew Brees, but I am looking for the Falcons to flex their muscle in this matchup. Save your money for a more consistent wide receiver.
Kirk Cousins ($6500) – Cousins has played like a top 5 QB the majority of the season. Cousins now goes up against the New York Giants, which has one of the better defenses in the NFL. Look for Cousins to have one of his worst games of the season in this matchup.
Frank Gore ($4700) – Who is more reliable than Frank Gore? Will he get you 30 points? No, of course not. But he will continually get you around 15 points at a bargain price. Look for Gore and the Colts to finish their season with a win against their divisional rival the Jacksonville Jaguars.
