Hello Fantasy Fumble friends, and welcome to this week’s edition of LOCK or BUST! I am very happy with last week’s results, after a horrible Week 3. Rivers, Bell, and Elliot all had solid performances. Sadly my extra Bargain Pick, L. Blount was horrible along with the rest of the Patriots offense against the Bills! Anyways, let’s get it going this week with the Bargain Pick first. Mixing it up a bit!
Hunter Henry ($3,330) – I think Gates will miss another week, and Henry is the man to play. Rivers likes to throw to his TE’s, and this guy had a good performance last week. The Raiders are giving up an average of 8.4 points to opponent TE’s, so if he can get some catches, we should see a double digit showing.
Brock Osweiler – The Vikings defense is going to have a great day against Brock. 6 INT’s, all in the last 3 games for Brock, and I see at the least 2 more this week. The Vikings defense is legit, and they are at home again. The Texans are lucky to have the record they have.
DeSean Jackson – Outside of a 44 yard TD pass this year, Jackson has done nothing. So if you’re trying to save money by grabbing him at his $5900 value DON’T! All he can do is run the deep route and that’s it.
Ryan Matthews – After the breakout game Sproles had in Week 3, I see Ryan Matthews losing some snaps. Which means in his situation, he needs to break for long touchdown runs since the catches will probably go to Sproles out of the backfield. The Lions defense shockingly hasn’t given up a rushing TD yet this year.
Tom Brady ($7,500) – Do I need to explain this? Ok fine! First game back for Brady, a very angry and pissed off Tom to be exact. I expect a huge game from TB12, at least 300 yards and 3 TD’s. The Browns are in trouble this week.
Jordan Howard ($5,200) – Howard looked awesome last week against the Lions in his first start of his young career. All I see is continued growth this week for Howard. The Colts defense isn’t anything to write home about, and they are coming off of a game in London last week. I expect a tired Colts team to get gashed by Howard.
Kelvin Benjamin ($7,300) – I think this is my first Monday Night Football pick this year. I see a comeback game for Benjamin. I see the Panthers wanting to feed him the rock after last week. After picking KB, I noticed on NFL.com they said he is the #1 must start WR this week. Plus, the Bucs are giving up the most fantasy points to WR’s so far this year. GOOD LUCK!
